About United States Super Trucks (USST)...
Information on this site provides basic information to truck racers and fans. USST was formed by truck racers to promote the oval track and road course racing rule sets designed around race cars that resemble full size trucks like the Chevy Silverado, Ford F150, or Dodge Ram.
USST published a 15 race schedule for 2003 and a 27 race schedule for 2004. USST is in search of a title sponsor for the 2004 season. This is not as expensive as it sounds, please contact us if you have any questions.
This sites current primary focus is to provide information about future USST race dates and details. USST rules are still under discussion and questions regarding rules should be emailed to the operators of this site.
Truck racing has suffered from the wide variety of truck rule sets across the nation. USST is working to consolidate these rule sets or equalize the different rule sets through testing and racing results.
USST rules attempt to mix the many classes of race trucks available by standardizing tires and adjusting total truck weight. Our goal is to allow any class of truck to be competitive enough to win a USST event. Rule sets that fall easily within USST's range are those of PRO, Sandia, and Mid-Am. ARTS trucks require many upgrades to compete in USST. Kansas City's I-70 trucks also fit into USST.
USST does not run the racing events, we work with race tracks to put on a good show using our rules and procedures.
