The United States Super Trucks (USST) announces the 2nd Annual Super Truck Nationals at Dodge City Raceway Park. The Nationals will be a 100 lap feature held Saturday Sept 27th on the 3/8 mile asphalt oval. Super Trucks from USST, CNS, I-70, Mid-Am, and Sandia trucks are invited to see who will win the 2003 Super Truck event. This will be a 'racers race' which means plan on running lots of laps. We will practice and race as much as time permits. We plan on have long feature races and getting the racers seat time! The main features are planned for Saturday Night. Practice will be Friday and Saturday with time and schedule to be announced. Qualifying Time Trials will be held during the day for the Super Trucks along with a quick six trophy dash for a trophy provided by the trophy sponsor. The Super Truck Feature will be 100 laps with a 15 minute break at 50 laps or if a caution occurs near the 50 lap mark. The final 50 laps will restart single file with a potential roll of the dice for inversion. USST rules will be enforced. Super Stocks will run a 50 lap main feature with a one hour time limit. Super Stock feature line up is based on finishing position in heat races. Super Stock heats may be numerous and 20 laps depending on how many cars attend. Common Colorado Super Stock rules will be enforced. USST is working with a professional filming organization to record television quality footage at this race and other USST races. Video may be made available to teams so remember to keep vehicles clean, crews in uniforms, and remember someone may be filming you, recording you, or tuned into you radio frequencies at any time. |
Super Trucks 4 wide prerace parade lap The first race promoted by the United States Super Trucks was the 2002 DCRP Super Truck Nationals. Twenty-Six trucks from 4 different states started the exciting feature. |
