Denton Wins Altus Truck Opener

Altus, OK -  The Super Trucks took to the 1/3 mile oval in Altus Oklahoma for the first time in 2004.  Qualifying on the cool track put Mark Denton of Hobart and Austin Siebert of Kansas City on the front row.  Denton was quick during the start of the feature and never looked back.  Caudell and Siebert ran close for the entire 40 laps for the second place position.  Their side by side racing went back and forth with Caudell making numerous runs on Seibert.  After a small amount of paint and tire rubbing, Siebert was able to hold off Caudell.  The battle for fourth had Rick Perry and Scotty Deatherage tangling with Deatherage getting airborne and nearly landing on the wall for the second time in two races.   Deatherage was able to avoid the trucks destruction during the races only caution and was able to race his way back to fifth.
